Dog Rescue Newcastle is a rapidly growing, 100% volunteer run rescue in New South Wales.
They are made up of a a dedicated and passionate group of people working to save at
risk dogs & cats from unwanted
situations and death row pounds.
Their goal is to reduce euthanasia rates in local pounds and focus on
preventative programs to
keep people and pets
together.
Dog Rescue Newcastle undertake a number of community outreach events and programs, and established the Hunter Animal Sanctuary, a new headquarters, community hub and haven for abandoned animals in the Hunter.
