Dogs Behind Bars Rescue (DBBR) are a small animal rescue based in Western Australia.
DBBR are staffed by about 12 volunteers and up to 30 foster carers at a time.
DBBR do not have a shelter function and are entirely reliant on their network of foster carers.
Dogs Behind Bars put in about 300 unpaid hours of work every week. DBBR receive 0% of their funding from the government.
In 2020, DBBR rehomed or fostered about 80 dogs!
